Malware Elimination

If so, your PC is most likely infected with malware.

What is Malware? According to Wikipedia, it is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner's informed consent. This includes adware, spyware, trojans, viruses and other internet parasites.

Viruses won't go away anytime soon! More than 60,000 viruses have been identified, and, on average, 200 new viruses are created every month!

Quick Glossary of Terms

• Virus - a program of executable code that has the ability to replicate. Like biological viruses, computer viruses can spread quickly and are often difficult to eradicate.
• Trojan - malware that performs unexpected or unauthorized, often malicious, actions. The main difference between a Trojan and a virus is its inability to replicate but it can cause havoc nevertheless.
